'''Gnomeism''' is the worship of the '''Lord-all-Gnomey''', the progenitor to all players.
The Gnome died for the claims of players, and created what they now call ''The Server''.

Gnomeists follow the '''Holy Claims''', a group of sacred tenets recorded in ''The Treatise''.

== The Holy Claims ==
Some of the key tenets include:
# On the 31st day of each month, the Gnome must be offered a poisonous potato.
# Potatoes cannot be consumed as they are a holy crop, but must be cultivated in order to procure more poisonous potatoes.
# Unwavering fealty to that of the Gnome and His forms.

== History ==
While the true age of Gnomeist texts is unknown, the Gnomeists of Fort Irons founded their church the same day as the town, on '''August 7th, 2025'''.
Since then, followers have been dedicated to spreading the word of the Lord-all-Gnomey across the Server.

== Mission ==
The mission of Gnomeists is:
* To spread the word of the Gnome.
* To cultivate mass amounts of poisonous potatoes in search of the new messiah.
* To prevent Fallen Admins such as Ryan.

== Scriptures ==
The sacred texts of Gnomeism, known collectively as the '''Gnomeist Bible''', are divided into three works:
* Gnomesis — the creation story, the origins of Gaia, and the fall of Ryan.
* Gnomethins — the great cataclysm, the Flood, and the exile of Ryan.
* Treatise on Gnomeish Morality and Being — the codified Holy Claims, the duties of followers, and the teachings of the Gnome-Below.

== Important Concepts ==

=== Poisonous potato ===
The poisonous potato is the central symbol of sacrifice in Gnomeism.
It is considered a holy item, unfit for regular consumption. Followers cultivate potatoes only to obtain poisonous potatoes, which are then offered to the Lord-all-Gnomey.
Burnt offerings of poisonous potatoes are required every 31st day as an act of devotion.

=== Fort Irons ===
Fort Irons is the birthplace of the organized Gnomeist Church.
The Gnomeist congregation was formally founded on '''August 7th, 2025''', the same day the town itself was established.
From Fort Irons, missionaries and believers spread the teachings of Gnomeism throughout the Server.

=== Gaia ===
''Gaia'' is the original Server created by Pop and JG under the guidance of the Gnome.
At the heart of Gaia stood the forbidden fountain, whose water brought both power and loneliness when consumed.
The fall of Pop and JG, and Ryan’s betrayal, led to the corruption of Gaia and the eventual exile of players to later servers.

=== Fallen Admins ===
''Fallen Admins'' are figures who, like Ryan, betrayed the will of the Gnome.
They are regarded as corrupt authorities who misuse their power, causing division and cataclysm within the Server.
Followers are required by the Treatise to train their minds and remain vigilant against such figures, ensuring they cannot lead Players astray again.
