Schleswig, officially the County of Schleswig, is a feudal county within the German Confederation which shares a border with the Danish State to its north. The county is known for its simple yet quaint architecture and the area's abundance of natural flora.
Establishment and the Schleswig Question
Schleswig was established on June 20th, 2025 by 84841 following his departure from the town of Metz. Shortly after its creation, 84841 became the first self-declared Count of Schleswig as the head of the nascent House von Schleswig. The area was chosen for its coastline, abundant supply of wood, and nearby flat and arable terrain.
Later in the day, a petition for the incorporation of Schleswig into the neighboring German Confederation was initiated. After an hour and a half of discussions and 84841's refusal to relocate from the area in order to comply with the German government's plans, the petition was ultimately rejected.
