KawadaJP was one of the leading members within the EarthMC community, originally gaining popularity as a player and later becoming a member of the EarthPol staff team. Eventually, however, KawadaJP was removed from the staff team and went on to create his own Minecraft server, "NewEarth."

History

Staff Misconduct & Dismissal

During the V4 events, KawadaJP and his friends created a false siege scenario. They formed a false alliance with a neighboring nation to help them in a siege. But once the enemy players were lured into a small region, KawadaJP and his crew broke the treaty, and the enemy nation's players immediately became victims of War Sickness and lost all their gear. EarthMC administrator 0xBit eventually clarified that this was not a deliberate mechanic and thus enforced temporary bans accordingly: 7-day bans for the individuals who organized the plot, and 3-day bans for the individuals who participated.

Upon internal review, KawadaJP was downgraded to staff. While initially firing was to be a behind-the-scenes deal, KawadaJP opted instead to become noticed by posting the now-infamous video, "We Got Banned from EarthPol". Within days, the video received over 1,387 views. In response, 0xBit uploaded his own video, which disclosed that KawadaJP had been using a plugin named "InventoryRollbackRestore" to cheat ahead of CoreProtect logs and unfairly assist his friends. KawadaJP also exploited his powers to teleport his friends into the Siege Zone, tipping the scales by quickly out-numbering the opposing force. KawadaJP contested these actions, but 0xBit responded by posting a complete CoreProtect export, which comprehensively logged all the events and commands in question.
