Denmark

Denmark is one of the largest and most powerful nations on Earthpol Astra. It is the most populated nation on the server counting more than 300 residents, aswell as having more than 50 towns, as the only nation. Denmark was founded by Emperor Vertualy, who has ruled it since its founding in July 2025. Denmark's reach spans across the Nordic countries, Britain, Ireland, France, Iceland, Greenland and Poland. The capital is Jelling, and other significant towns include Copenhagen, Aarhus, Wales, Skaane and Halmstad to name a few.

History

Early History

Formation and Founding

Denmark was founded on July 13, 2025 by Vertualy. Since its founding it has been an economic, military, and cultural powerhouse of Europe, rivaling the likes of the German Empire at its prime.

Expansion and Early Conflicts

When Vertualy and his companions XLNuggets, Mikkel136, DK_Simon and GroovyLav joined EarthPol and founded Jelling, the Germans were well on their way to conquer the whole peninsula. That was until Jelling was founded, and they succesfully managed to prevent the Germans from expanding further into Denmark with diplomatic discussion. They quickly managed to buy out a german town in the north, and they expelled the germans. When they joined, a danish nation existed in Odense, owned by PowerSage. After 3 days of hardcore diplomacy, they managed to buy the nation from PowerSage, even though he was very stubborn about accepting the deal. Soon after, Copenhagen fell into the hands of XLNuggets, as he happened to know the old mayor.

Mid-History

In mid august, the kingdom of Denmark had claimed up all essential lands in mainland Denmark, and now sought to expand their sphere of influence on the map. On the 8th of august, Denmark initiated an invasion on England, and planted three towns in Britian. This was followed up by an announcement calling for every british citizen to denounce the british king Zamings, and join Denmark. Within 2 hours, Zamings had abdicated from the British throne, and was followed by his Prime Minister OsBoss16.

Denmark is an active participant in the international stage, serving a key role in the United Nations and international debates. It is also a large member of the Super Friends Alliance.
