Astra (also known as Version 7) is the current and upcoming version of EarthPol. It will be released on 7th June 2025 and plans to last indefinitely. The name 'Astra' is derived from the Latin phrase Ad Astra, meaning 'to the stars.' It symbolizes the version's six-month-long development, the longest and most ambitious in EarthPol's history.

Summary
Development
Following the decline and eventual shutdown of Ecliptica, MrTytanic and the development team concluded that a radical development cycle was necessary between December and June to thoroughly analyze and improve every aspect of EarthPol's gameplay, while also introducing new features. After six months of development, the server will officially release on 7 June 2025.

TheImmortalEcho has recently risen to prominence in Astra as the founder of the EarthPol Catholic Church. Establishing the Papal States in a small, independent town centered around a grand cathedral, he declared himself Pope Vincent I. Currently the Church is small but its numbers continue to grow over time.
Economy and Infrastructure
The Global Rail Network, founded by MarshalTactix has pledged to "revolutionize travel and commerce across the world by ambitiously connecting all continents together through a vast, interconnected system of railways and boat roads."
