SAGE-19 is a highly disruptive and partially understood virus that first emerged in the Kingdom of Denmark and has since triggered global alarm due to its effects on both agricultural systems and players. The virus gained international attention following its rapid emergence in multiple regions, culminating in the declaration of a global pandemic by the German Health Administration.

Discovery

The virus was initially detected by environmental surveillance satellites operated by the Hokkaido Republic’s NGD-3000 Constellation, which recorded an unidentified green cloud hovering over central Denmark. Coinciding with the peak of the Great EarthPol Famine, this anomaly led to renewed scrutiny as agricultural systems began to collapse across the server.

Shortly thereafter, researchers at the Sapporo Institute of Science (SIS) reported the virus's presence in Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido. Lead researcher SpaceJavelin described the pathogen as a “biological and digital hybrid” capable of wiping out crops, causing symptoms in players, and being, quote, “annoying af.”

Spread and Impact

Despite containment efforts, the virus reached Berlin when a traveler named Apigale tested positive for Sage-19 during routine screening—marking the first confirmed case outside of Denmark. Following this event, the German Confederation officially declared the outbreak a pandemic, urging all nations to initiate testing and, if necessary, close their borders.

Hokkaido Secretary of State MarshalTactix declared the virus “an existential threat to our well-being,” controversially blaming immigration from Denmark for its arrival in Hokkaido. These remarks sparked diplomatic tension, but also accelerated joint international research efforts.

Meanwhile, pmkcanadian, ruler of the Eastern Roman Empire, confirmed there were no infections in Constantinople but vowed to “investigate the root cause with our division of medicine, by the grace of God.”

Suspected Origins

Though the true origin of SAGE-19 remains under investigation, several key findings point toward Denmark:

- The green cloud over Danish territory was observed days before the EarthPol famine.

- Multiple infected soil samples from Denmark contained unusual RNA-like code strings.

- A recent report by the Berlin Agricultural Institute concluded there is a strong correlation between Sage-19, the EarthPol famine, and backend corruption events.

Ongoing Investigations

International cooperation is underway to contain the spread and identify a cure or patch. Leading research bodies include:

- Sapporo Institute of Science (SIS) – Virology and climate modeling

- Berlin Agricultural Institute – Crop mutation analytics

- Eastern Roman Division of Medicine – Viral immunology and metaphysical analysis
