The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization on EarthPol, dedicated to fostering cooperation, dialogue, and peaceful relations among its member states. Established on 6 May 2025, the UN provides a forum for addressing common challenges—from security to development—and serves as the primary venue for multilateral diplomacy on EarthPol. The UN is formed of four branches: The General Assembly, the UN Security Council, the Secretary General, and the International Court of Justice.

The United Nations is organized into principal branches:

  • Security Council - The executive organ of the UN responsible for maintaining peace and security. It is composed of permanent and rotating members. The permanent members, known as the Permanent Five (P5), include Britain, Eastern Roman Empire, Hokkaido Republic, Canada, and German Empire. History

The expulsion of PowerSage_

One of the first large United Nations actions was the expulsion of the at the time Ambassador of the German Confederation PowerSage_.

An emergency meeting was declared by Metonoktaexe on the 24th of May 2025 after RomanDiCario had declared that PowerSage_ was on the top of his hitlist. The conversations started on how to deal with a response to RomanDiCario but quickly other Ambassadors and Nation Leaders started to call PowerSage_'s morals and ethics into question. Ambassador of the Hokkaido Republic MarshalTactix's suggested that PowerSage_ submit his immediate resignation from all diplomatic positions, days after the Hokkaido Republic had declared PowerSage_ persona-non-grata citing unprofessionalism, poor communication and inability and unwillingness to engage in coherent and constructive dialogue.

A vote was held to expel Ambassador of the German Confederation PowerSage_ but, before the vote could be completed. PowerSage_ succeeded East Prussia from the German Confederation and was declared enemy of the state by German Confederation. This led to the automatic vacancy of the position of Ambassador of the German Confederation. PowerSage_ would later join RomanDiCario's SPQM.
