The Emirate of Cyrenica was a short-lived but noteworthy nation that emerged during the tumultuous days following the collapse of the Kingdom of Greece in EarthPol Version 5. It was founded by lucqent and MrTytanic, two leaders seeking stability and a fresh start on the Libyan coast. Though modest in size, Cyrenica carved out a unique role for itself by focusing on economic innovation, trade, and diplomacy.

Early History
Formation and Founding
The Emirate of Cyrenica was born out of the ashes of the Kingdom of Greece, a major power that had fractured due to internal instability and diplomatic isolation. Seeing an opportunity in the power vacuum, lucqent and MrTytanic relocated to the region of Cyrenica and declared the formation of a new nation—one that would be small but ambitious. From the outset, the Emirate focused on creating a peaceful trading hub that would attract international visitors and establish itself as a beacon of commerce.
One of the first goals of the new Emirate was the creation of a centralized shop and trading center, aimed at offering travelers and merchants a consistent location to trade goods, gather supplies, and conduct diplomatic meetings. While the project never reached its full potential due to the short duration of V5, the effort symbolized Cyrenica’s ambitions.

The Emirate quickly became known for its main export: beacons. Leveraging the flawed McMMO "Shaking" mechanic—left active in early V5—Cyrenica established efficient beacon farms that churned out high-value resources. These beacons became a key part of the Emirate’s economy and a major draw for players looking to acquire them cheaply, especially after the introduction of netherite caused inflation and destabilized traditional economies.
Korey9407 was instrumental in the Emirate’s resource operations. A tireless worker, he handled most of the nation’s harvesting efforts, mining and crafting the materials needed to maintain the beacon trade and infrastructure.
Diplomacy and Foreign Relations
Despite its size, the Emirate of Cyrenica made early strides in diplomacy. It hosted its first foreign dignitary, KeijoDPutt, who visited to assess the nation’s potential and discuss regional matters.
