0xBit is one of the three owners and the original creator of EarthPol. After purchasing the domain earthpol.com on September 16th, 2020, he launched Version 1 on October 17th, 2020. He held the role of Sole Owner and Lead Developer from EarthPol's founding through January 2024.

In November 2024, ownership of the server was formally split between 0xBit, MrTytanic, and Bustun. 0xBit now maintains a 33% ownership share of EarthPol and continues to assist periodically with development efforts.

History

Founding of EarthPol

0xBit founded EarthPol after acquiring the domain on September 16th, 2020. The first version, Version 1, launched one month later and marked the beginning of his leadership over both technical development and server direction. During the Ignis, Umbra, Aether, Nebula, Lumen, and Ecliptica eras, he served as the central administrator, architect, and primary decision-maker.

Transition of Ownership

In January 2024, 0xBit stepped back from full-time ownership duties. By November 2024, EarthPol transitioned into a three-way ownership model shared between 0xBit, MrTytanic, and Bustun. His role shifted from day-to-day management to a supportive development and advisory capacity.

Modern Era

Today, 0xBit retains a 33% ownership share of EarthPol. While no longer the sole owner, he is still recognized as the server’s Founder and as one of the most influential figures in its technical evolution, particularly through his development of systems like Chronos, Towny integrations, custom APIs, and major backend infrastructure used throughout EarthPol’s history.

Legacy

As the original creator of EarthPol, 0xBit is responsible for establishing the server’s technical foundation, early geopolitical culture, and many of the core systems used across all versions. His early work set the tone for EarthPol’s long-term identity and continues to influence the genre's future.
