Overview

Arescartier is a Greek Cypriot-American Minecraft player best known for his leadership during the Nefarious Rebellion in Version 2 and as the prominent leader of the nations of Earth and the Kingdom of Greece in Versions 4 and 5 respectively. His time on EarthPol was marked by significant political and military involvement, often placing him at the center of conflict.

Player History

Version 2

In Version 2, arescartier emerged as the mayor of Nefarious, a Scottish town that sought independence from the Kingdom of Scotland. The rebellion was sparked by tensions between Scottish leadership—namely Prime Minister MrMcPanda and Deputy PM MrTytanic. Arescartier led the town in declaring independence, initiating what would be known as the Nefarious Rebellion.

Despite valiant efforts, the rebellion was quashed by the Scottish government, with assistance from players like Apigale, Conclusionz, SirGru, and MrTytanic. Arescartier was among the rebels defeated in battle, and the rebellion ultimately ended in failure.

Version 4

In Version 4, arescartier returned to EarthPol and became the leader of the powerful and independent nation of Earth. Arescartier played a strategic role in Earth’s military and diplomatic efforts throughout the server.

During the Great War, Earth allied with Deutschland, aiding in the defense of German towns like Truro, and joined sieges against SPQR towns such as Istanbul and Edinburgh. However, after suffering heavy losses and witnessing widespread collapse among allies, arescartier briefly merged Earth into Deutschland and announced his retirement from the server. Despite the announcement, he would later regret the decision, highlighting the instability and rapid developments during the war.

Version 5

During EarthPol V5, arescartier led the Kingdom of Greece alongside grantykied. He played a central role in recruiting MrTytanic into the nation, where MrTytanic would go on to serve as a senator alongside elf_9, NimbKied, and te3t. Under their leadership, Greece became the most populous nation on the server.

In the midst of the continued Deutschland–SPQR rivalry, arescartier directed MrTytanic to create the Protectorate Pact, an alliance focused on peace, economic prosperity, and mutual defense. The alliance explicitly avoided offensive warfare but promised coordinated support during defensive conflicts. Thanks to Arescartier’s and MrTytanic’s diplomacy, multiple nations joined the alliance, including the United States of America.

Eventually, Greece, supported by this alliance, launched an attack on Appqle, an ally of the Ottomans, at Giza. However, they were unable to win a single siege, repeatedly losing to Appqle and the Ottoman Empire (SPQR). Eventually, grantykied made peace with the Ottomans, effectively ending the conflict while arescartier left the server and was enrolled in university. As new nations like Homestead emerged and activity declined, key figures like MrTytanic left Greece, and the nation began to fall apart. V5 was officially ended by 0xBit shortly thereafter.
