Overview
Keplr_ is a player who has appeared in the versions V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, Polaris, V6, and will appear in V7. He has a wide-ranging history in earthpol across many nations. Keplr is also known by his previous usernames, TIG19, Franz15, and _Caelesti.
Player history
Version 1
Keplr_ joined earthpol a week after version 1 released. He started his journey by attempting to sail all the way to India, yet died on the way. He temporarily joined the nation of Madagascar, after which he created the city of Tiruvendrapura in India. As a token of gratitude to the nation of Madagascar for their assistance, Keplr built a cobblestone bridge from Madagascar to India. Later, Keplr created the Manpuri Empire with Tiruvendrapura as his capital. He established alliances with matty661's Austria and Chairlatte's Japan, fueled by a trade of carrots between the nations. A few days later, earthpol was hit by a massive grief attack, signaling the closure of version 1. Around this time, Keplr met YouLookTasty, the leader of the Golden Horde.
Version 2
As V1 came to a close, Keplr_ set his sights to India again for V2. He established a pre-release alliance with YouLookTasty, who was set to make the nation of Nan Yue. This eventually caused them to create an alliance for Asian nations, which consisted of 7 member states, including Keplr's Mauryan Empire and YouLookTasty's Nan Yue. Once the server released, Keplr once again departed to India, his course set for Pataliputra, the Mauryan capital. However, on the way there he was killed by a pillager patrol, which caused him to teleport all the way back to central Africa. Keplr therefore temporarily joined YouLookTasty's capital, Hong Kong. However, he eventually permanently settled in the city, abandoning his plans for a large Indian nation.
Keplr_ was now the comayor of Hong Kong, and as the empire of Nan Yue was established, he eventually would become its prime minister. After Nan Yue was created, Keplr was tasked with forging alliances with nearby nations. Around this time, the Roman Empire, one of the largest nations in earthpol history, fell apart due to internal tensions. Many nations took the opportunity to establish control over their former borders; this included France, who also wished to establish alliances with other nations. This led to Keplr meeting seeaaaan (later Atom), who was initially a French diplomat. However, the two would build a lasting friendship, and Atom would later join Hong Kong. For most of version 2, Yue was the sole nation in China. However, a large group from EarthMC came to rival their position - the Qing dynasty, with their seat in Luoyang. Mr. X, their leader, formally approached Yue with a proposal for unification. Yue agreed with a few conditions, including autonomy and government positions for the former Yue government.
Keplr ran for the Qing prime minister at this time, yet did not win in the elections. Yue was also not given their promised autonomy, which caused dissent among the members of the nation. Around this time, Mr. X was banned for using a duped item. This enraged the Qing council, who threatened to create lag machines on the server. Keplr, a member of the council, reported this to the staff, which led to most of the Qing council being banned. Yue formally seceded from the nation and re-established the empire as Qing fell apart. This was followed by a period of inactivity within Yue, as tasty was banned for advertisement. Once YouLookTasty's ban was over, Keplr_ built the Great palace of Yue in Hong Kong, which was the city's biggest building. In an effort to expand the nation, Keplr also created his own town at Angkor Wat. However he eventually moved back to Hong Kong - a few days later, he made a new town called Tiantang near modern day Zhanjiang. The Tiantang-Hong Kong railway was also built by Keplr around this time.
In Version 2, Keplr_ also created 0x News, which regularly competed with Earthpol Live, earthpol's current largest news network. This rivalry would contineu throughout version 2, until Earthpol Live ultimately became the premier news network of Earthpol.
Eventually, a new force emerged in China - 1ett's Qin. Qin and Yue established formal ties initially. However, Japan and Qin eventually came to an agreement to divide most of east Asia amongst themselves. Japan got a large part of southeast Asia and costal China, which included Yue's claims. Qin got India and central Asia, as well as a part of southeast Asia. Tensions rose between Japan and Yue as Qin remained neutral. A siege from Japan on Hong Kong was inevitable. However, to protect the Indian lands from Qin, Keplr_ decided to move to India in order to create the city of Hampi - from there he contacted many Indian local towns to diplomatically pressure Qin into withdrawing from India. Hong Kong was eventually sieged and surrendered to the Japanese empire - the empire of Nan Yue fell, becoming an autonomous region under the Japanese empire. Qin also fell as they lost a war to a global alliance of nations, which included Japan. Keplr temporarily rejoined Hong Kong, where he founded a new religion - 0xism, which he would preach for the rest of version 2 (this also eventually led to him moving to Africa temporarily, until he returned to Hong Kong). In the final days of version 2, Keplr_ left Hong Kong one last time to join another nation. He joined the Ottoman Empire, where he met SkippZ_, their leader. Initially planning to create Cyprus, he eventually became the new mayor of Ankara - this was followed by an unexpected backup failure within the server, which led to the closure of Version 2.
Version 3
Pre-release, Keplr_ was initially a member of Rum, SkippZ_'s nation. However, this was followed by a series of town-hops across multiple nations including but not limited to Egypt (YouLookTasty's nation), SPQR, Aztecs (where he made a short-lived town called 'Brothamshire'), until Keplr_ went to Vietnam to create "Vietcong" - a nation that had rather ambitious claims including the entirety of southeast Asia. This caused the nation to not make it to the release, and Keplr_ joined General_T123's SPQR. At this point, Keplr_ had earned a bad reputation on the server for being a town-hopper. He eventually settled at Madrid alongside Atom, his friend from V2 - around this time, a group of rebels called the Ostrogoths tried to get them on their side. However, Keplr_ revealed these plans to SPQR's senate, which caused him to be a high-ranking council member there. But this also caused Atom to leave Madrid, which eventually resulted in the town's downfall. Keplr_ then took a temporary break from Minecraft, during which the SPQR community moved to the Netherlands. Once back from his break, Keplr joined the Dutch East Indies, which was a colony at Indonesia. Initially at Jakarta, he planned to settle a town later - but in a sudden turn of events, the community moved again. XLNuggets, the mayor at the time, assigned the post to Keplr, who was the only citizen not online at the time. Left alone with an inactive town, Keplr suddenly had an opportunity to create his own nation.
Promising to correct his previous mistakes as a town-hopper, Keplr worked hard for the next few days, gaining up to 1k gold in order to make a nation. He also significantly rebuilt Jakarta and made it a true port city. The final 1k for the nation came as a donation from nearby Qin, who were later banned for duping (the donation was proven to not be duped). Finally, Keplr_ made his first ever nation - Indonesia, with its capital at Jakarta. Keplr also showcased his skills and experience as he recruited massively and built a town that consisted of 41 residents at its peak. He also laid the framework for a port-shopping plaza in Jakarta. However, around this time Version 3 came to a close.
Version 4
Once again, Keplr_ started Version 4 with a series of nation-hopping pre-release. This included Poland, China, Iran, Muscovy and India among others. After release, however, he joined the Baltic Union. A few days later, he joined YouLookTasty at his town Heilongjiang. Eventually, he made his own town at Harbin - however this also didn't last for long as he would town-hop once again to the Seljuks (SkippZ_'s nation), where he made Adana. This gained Keplr a lot of backlash, until he decided to take a break from the server. He then came back under a new name, _Caelesti. He joined Atom and created Delaware, joining MrAwsomeBurgers' USA. However, Atom and Keplr_ moved to Austria. With ambition and experience, the duo settled in Wien (as Vienna was initially taken). Keplr_ would finally create a nation, Austria. This started a new era for Keplr_, as the leader of a new nation.
Austria had humble beginnings, with Atom showing his skills as a builder as he started the construction of the massive Austrian palace - a project that would go on for a month. Keplr_ also recruited a new player, te3t, who eventually settled Feldkirch for Austria. Feldkirch would go on to gain 70+ residents, becoming the largest town in Earthpol V4. The nation also sieged Liechtenstein for infringing on their claims, and joined the Holy Roman Empire alliance that consisted of Bohemia, Prussia and (later) Saxony. The Holy Roman Empire became one of the most active places on the server, consisting cumulatively of 200+ residents. Austria would also grow into a nation of 124 residents (at its peak). Keplr_ also officially rebranded the nation into an empire, declaring himself Kaiser of Austria. He also tried to get Hungary to merge, forming Austria-Hungary - however Hungary would repeatedly refuse.
Eventually, this led to Hungary sieging Vienna - supported by Romania, this siege saw hard-fought battle and would be the turning point for Austria, who would face severe decline henceforth. The siege was won by Hungary and her allies, who plundered Vienna - however the town was saved when Keplr_ managed to deposit enough money in the bank. Austria continued, but now a rift started occurring between te3t and Keplr_. This would also mark the time where the Imperial Austrian Palace would finish construction.
A few days later, the Great War of Version 4 took place. One of Keplr_'s recruits, Centurion_1, created Linz and joined Austria. As tensions between Wakanda (led by Adm1ralRaddus) and Bohemia grew, the server was on a brink of a full-scale war. Eventually, Wakanda started threatening Austria, who was a part of the Holy Roman Empire alliance. A few days later, Bohemia sieged Wakanda - this is one of the largest Earthpol sieges to date, alongside the Oblock siege in Version 3. Austria would aid in the war by providing weapons and potions, while also sending their citizens to cap at the banner. This included Centurion_1 and his citizens at Linz who, unbeknownst to Keplr, were secretly on the enemy's side. They would go and die there on purpose, point-feeding the enemy. This was noticed by Keplr_ and te3t, who removed their private roles. This angered Linz, who left Austria and joined Saxony (now Deutschland). Many cities including Graz declared their independence from Austria, until finally Feldkirch joined Deutschland, ending Austrian dominance in the region. Now a rump state consisting of Vienna and a few other towns, Keplr_ finally declared the nation dead. To this day, Austria is Keplr_'s largest ever nation, consisting of 124 members at its peak. Vienna, which consisted of 19 members at its peak, would be Keplr's second largest town after Jakarta V3.
After Austria declined, Keplr_ relocated to Sardinia, then moved to Cilicia - after which him and Atom teamed up again to settle in the Canary Islands, where they made Tenerife. The town eventually joined SPQR (SkippZ_'s nation), where Keplr_ became a part of the senate. A few weeks later, SPQR would declare war on Deutschland, and planned to annex Austria. Keplr_ moved to Hartberg, where he would declare that "Austria is back" as a state under SPQR's domain. This is where he would stay until he finally moved to Sofia, where he would stay for the next few weeks.
Eventually, as Earthpol V4 appeared to decline, YouLookTasty and Keplr_ would join together once again to settle Xining in China, creating Tibet. Xining still had an outpost in Hartberg (one of Keplr_'s previous towns), so Centurion_1, who was still at Linz, would siege the town. The Siege of Xining was eventually won by the defenders (Keplr_ and his allies), and would eventually be the capital of Tibet. Tasty and Keplr_ would stay at Xining until the end of V4.
Version 5
In Version 5, Keplr_ would settle in Singapore with YouLookTasty, sahilan, ChadPanda and many others. The city was built in the modern style and would house both trading plazas and plots for citizens. This was also where the 1 year anniversary of the group's previous nation, Vietnam, was celebrated.
Polaris
Earthpol would return again, now under the name Polaris. Keplr_ settled in China alongside YouLookTasty, sahilan, NorihikoH, and Unhappydog9. YouLookTasty invited Dragon_Lee to the nation, who was a player from Version 4 that settled in China alongside Tasty. Pre-release, YouLookTasty was the emperor and Keplr_ was his right hand - however in sudden turn of events, Dragon_Lee created the nation in-game before they did. With a strong force of 40+ Chinese pvpers, Lee was a hard force to defeat. Therefore, YouLookTasty and Keplr_ joined his nation. Keplr_ created the town of Chengdu, where he would remain for the whole version. The town had humble beginnings, consisting of a gong-house and a Paifang. However, this version was short-lived and eventually came to an end.
Version 6
In Version 6, Keplr and his group once again settled China, this time in Yue (as a throwback to Version 2). At this time there were 3 other states in China - Casc_'s Jin Clique, yukiyuu's Bokkai, and comrade's CCP. However, after thorough negotiation, the 4 nations agreed to unite into one federation - the nation of Ming. This nation would consist of the previous 4 states as autonomous provinces. Keplr_ held the post of emperor, while YouLookTasty was the prime minister. However, another force emerged in china - titled the NRA, they opposed Ming's claims to the land and claimed all of China. After release, YouLookTasty would swiftly create Hong Kong - Keplr_ would assume mayorship of the town, as all other Ming cities were quickly settled. Around this time, the nation formally held elections for emperor - Keplr_ won by a landslide with 13 votes to none. His first act as emperor would be to unite the nation entirely, abolishing the previous provinces and creating the Empire of Ming. The nation was then created in-game - it quickly amassed a decent populace of 50+ residents. Eventually, the NRA would lose interest and formally join Ming. The remainder of the NRA relocated to Taiwan as a puppet state, while their capital would be taken over by Rxftly, a Ming minister. Ming would continue its existence as a dominant force in Asia, frequenting page 1 in /n list. Eventually, as he was busy in real life, Keplr_ would abdicate his position as emperor and hand it over to Rxftly. He led Ming until the end of Earthpol V6. This nation was a symbol of diplomacy and trade, as it saw Keplr_'s group defeat the NRA through sheer diplomacy.

Keplr_ is currently a member of China, led by YouLookTasty. He is a member of the nation's ministry and is a resident of Tasty's town, Canton.

In May 2025, Keplr_ was nominated and selected by the playerbase to be among the top twenty-five players in the EarthPol Hall of Fame.
