Overview
MrTytanic (joined December 26, 2020) is a nation leader, builder, businessman, journalist, and content creator, serving as the owner of EarthPol since June 2024. Described by RomanDiCario as "the creator of the best propaganda in the server", MrTytanic is known for the creation of various memes, videos, and history on EarthPol. He is also well-known for his unhealthy obsession with his home-town of Baltimore, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, and founder of the Turkish Republic: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. He has officially stepped down from leading or participating in any nations on EarthPol to focus on his role as the server owner and avoid any conflicts of interest.
Player History
Version 2
MrTytanic first joined Edinburgh, Scotland in V2, with Pancen being the first player he met. MrTytanic, primarily interested in establishing a name for himself on the server, created the Scottish Nationalist Party. With his party behind him, he announced his campaign to become the Prime Minister of Scotland, but was later disqualified from the 2020 Scottish Elections due to being a new player, having joined only two weeks prior, thus losing to his opponent, MrMcPanda. Under the tenure of Prime Minister MrMcPanda, MrTytanic was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister after they discussed their shared concerns about England and the rebelling Scottish town of Nefarious, led by Arescartier. Their shared concern culminated in the Nefarious Rebellion, in which Nefarious declared its independence from Scotland. Fighting alongside Apigale, Conclusionz, and SirGru, MrTytanic secured multiple kills against Nefarious rebels, including Arescartier, being rewarded St. Andrew's Cross medal by King XSpifflesx himself.
Following the successful campaign to quell the rebellion, MrMcPanda and MrTytanic left Scotland to create the nation of Khazar, with MrMcPanda as its Kozar. While living in Khazar as Chancellor, MrTytanic began the collection of various books, banners, and other player items deemed as "important" to the server's history, a tradition he would continue throughout his time on the server. As an ambassador of Khazar, MrTytanic visited many nations, especially to obtain their respective banners for his collection. During this time, MrTytanic met with nation leaders such as MrAwsomeBurgers, KawadaJP, and Rebelucian. Prior to the end of V2, MrTytanic had collected over forty-three banners and nearly two dozen player-written books.
Version 3
Though he played Version 3 briefly, MrTytanic joined MrMcPanda in forming the Incan Empire, serving as Willaq Umu (or Chief Priest). He was primarily interested in the implementation of serfdom in the Incan Empire, seeing it as "the gods' destined form of socio-economic supremacy in the empire." With lower player retention and a lack of recruitment within the nation, MrTytanic would eventually leave to temporarily join xSpifflesx's California but soon left to join GodsTyrant in Canada.
Version 4
Upon hearing of 0xBit's development of Towny on Nebula, MrTytanic joined his friend from Khazar, JollyFolly, who was the co-leader of the Khamag Khanate. While in the Khamag Khanate, MrTytanic documented its history in The Mongolian Gazette, a weekly newspaper documenting the events of the week, notably including the Khamag Khanate's war against the town of Citadel, who had joined the nation to kill allies upon leaving. With MrMcPanda's arrival to Nebula (now rebranded as EarthPol V4), MrMcPanda and MrTytanic created the nation of Morocco. Growing to be the third largest nation on the server, Morocco began to hold democratic elections, with Lunar_rrr becoming its first and only Prime Minister with 66.7% of the vote.
As Morocco slowly became inactive, MrMcPanda left the server, nominating MrTytanic as sucessor. Assuming the position of Kozar, MrTytanic began a series of reconstruction reforms, including a series of defensive tunnels under the Moroccan streets and massive autobrewers. During this time, MrTytanic had also been building his shop, The Khazar Bazaar, designed to be a one-stop-shop for anything that players needed. By selling bulk items for cheap prices, most notably sand, MrTytanic was able to obtain a significant gold balance, which he used to fund the Moroccan Defense Force. Taking nearly full control over every aspect in Moroccan society, MrTytanic's leadership devolved into a dictatorship, with the Moroccan Pariliament being formally abolished.
Following the continued decline in player activity, the nation of Morocco was formally disbanded and joined the prevailing nation of S.P.Q.R, led at the time by LuciusAnnaneus. Although he joined SPQR, MrTytanic had not given up Moroccan resources, eventually giving them to SPQR's rival Arescartier from the nation of Earth. Following his betrayal of SPQR, MrTytanic seceded and joined Deutschland after previous talks with its leader grantykied. The remaining resources of Morocco, including many reserved potions, would be used in Great War, particuarly at the Battle of Linz. Although MrTytanic had quit V4 prior to the Battle of Linz, he was soon made aware of Deustchland's defeat.
Version 5
When EarthPol V5 was announced, MrTytanic was hesitant to join but was eventually asked by Arescartier and grantykied to join their nation, The Kingdom of Greece. As a senator, MrTytanic worked together with elf_9, NimbKied, and te3t. Together, the recruited over three-hundred players, making Greece the largest nation by population. With nearly forty active citizens playing daily, Greek recruiting efforts had seemed succesful, with the vast majority of recruits living in MrTytanic's town, Avato.
As the Deustchland-SPQR rivalry continued on in the server, MrTytanic, at the behest of Arescartier, created the Protectorate Pact, an alliance dedicated to fostering peace, economic prosperity, and collaboration among its members, while actively avoiding offensive warfare. In times of defensive need, all members were committed to supporting each other with resources and manpower, ensuring that the alliance remained strong and unified. MrTytanic was able to sucessfully court various nations into the alliance, including the United States of America. With armies of players behind them, the leaders of Greece decided to attack Appqle, an ally of the Ottomans, at Giza.
Despite their resources, Greece was unable to win a single siege on the server, always ending in defeat against Apiagle and the rest of The Ottoman Empire (SPQR). Sensing the futile efforts to avenge their defeat at Linz, grantykied formally made peace with the Ottomans, ending their rivalry. With the rise of new nations, such as Homestead, MrTytanic sensed that his time in Greece was over and formally left the dying nation to create Cyrenica with lucqent. Shortly afterward, 0xBit had officially ended V5.
Polaris
Many players, particuraly those in Greece who were constantly angered by 0xBit's decision to end V5, found relief upon hearing that the new owner of EarthPol would be pmkcanadian. Taking advantage of this fact, MrTytanic, with the help of Nimbkied and 5u5u, created the nation of Iceland. Recruiting a third of all players from Greece, Iceland grew to be a formidiable and active nation under the leadership of MrTytanic.
With the arrival of Homestead, there was a significant change to the balance of power on the server. MrTytanic, albeit reluctantly as he was opposed to war of any kind, began to be involved in the Anti-Homestead war effort, becoming allies with The Anglo-Celtic Union, led by Irish_Eoghan and VladimirVonEire. Eventually, this culminated in the merge of Iceland with the Anglo-Celtic Union to form The North Atlantic Union. MrTytanic and Iceland were now firmly against the threat of Homestead. After various victories and defeats, Iceland began to grow distant from the other members of The North Atlantic Union, longing for its independence once more. Holding a vote, MrTytanic determined that Iceland would leave The North Atlantic Union. At this same time, 1nspectual, a pvper within Iceland, declared independence from both Iceland and The North Atlantic Union, forming his own short-lived nation: Tikva. Shortly afterward, Polaris' playercount began to wane and the server was closed by 0xBit, who revealed that he had been the owner all along and that there would be no more EarthPol.
V6
With EarthPol coming back again, MrTytanic and the remaining players within Iceland, decided to create The Cuban Empire. Rather than chasing pvp action, MrTytanic intends for Cuba to be a shop nation, providing resources in the event that sieges would affect its borders. Currently, it is the largest nation on the server by playercount, with one hundred and thirty five residents, slightly below Iceland's count of over two hundred. MrTytanic's concept of a shop nation has proven to be successful as MrTytanic is currently the second richest player on V6, with a balance of 88,797g, just behind 0xBit's 315,041g balance.
0xBit and MrTytanic, both realizing the threat that Homestead placed on the livelihood of the server with their ambitions to take over the world, created a formal alliance between Cuba and Cascadia. On August 16th, 2024, Cascadia formally declared war against Homestead, attacking their major supply depot at Seychelles, beginning the Purge of Homestead. Soon, other nations, including Vespa and Portugal, became involved in the conflict, providing gear and players to win the war. Within days, Homestead was being attacked on every front, with sieges at Belgrano, Valhalla, and their capital Birmingham. While there were many defeats against Homestead's army, the Protectorate Pact continued its war against Homestead. Shortly after siege weekend, Homestead announced that they would be quitting the server. After EarthPol was updated to 1.21, the remaining Homestead players began to take advantage of an unpatched duping bug. This led to 0xBit and MrTytanic deleting any Homestead towns from the server and banning all of its players that participated in the dupe.
Community Involvement
In V5, at the recommendation of lucqent, MrTytanic applied to be a helper on the EarthPol Staff Team, eventually being hired by KeijoDPutt. While certainly unqualified for the position, MrTytanic embraced his role by answering tickets and being involved in the server's success. With the end of V5 and creation of Polaris, MrTytanic was asked to become a Moderator by the new server owner, pmkcanadian. When 0xBit began to consider a new EarthPol version, 0xBit envisioned pmkcanadian as the server owner in his name. However, pmkcanadian resigned from the position ten days prior, making MrTytanic an obvious choice for a successor. Within less than a week, MrTytanic was able to put all necessary infastructure in place, including a staff team, support server, and planning for future updates/events.
Since V2, MrTytanic has been a reporter on EarthPol Live, the server's main news network. He covered a variety of events on the server's history, including the notable termination of SunnyIsRad and KawadaJP from the EarthPol staff team. Additionally, he created various videos and documents for both EarthPol Live and Polaris Community, which unfortunately have been lost to time. He became the Manager of EarthPol Live in V6, following the resignation of thicc_bois.
EarthPol Ownership
In January 2024, 0xBit approached MrTytanic about becoming the new owner of EarthPol, stating "it’s time for me to shift my focus to other aspects of my life—advancing my career, starting a family, and building a great life with my wife."
